eCommIT partnered with Sify in July 2006, to launch Digital Signature Certificates and Verisign SSL Certificates in Eastern India. Since then it has been helping its customers in e-enablement of their various business transactions. We have constantly endeavored to become the most accessible e-commerce solution providers in Eastern India.
In 2007, e-commerce and e-governance transactions took a giant leap in India. Several government and non-government organisations [such as PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) and Indian Railways (IREPS)] launched e-procurement initiatives. eCommIT had already developed expertise and knowledge in this area. We extended our services to help our customers in submitting their online e-tender & e-procurement applications.

Mr. Bharat Poddar is the managing partner & CEO of eCommIT. He joined the team in 2007 after returning from London. Mr. Poddar is a marketing expert and was instrumental in diversifying and expanding the business in the areas of e-tender and e-procurement consulting. His educational background is excellent with a BBA degree from Middlesex University in London, UK. He is leading the entire team of eCommIT, with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Mr. Tibrewal is the founding partner of eCommIT. After completing his MBA and returning from UK, he partnered with Safescrypt to bring its digital signature certificates to Eastern India. In just a couple of weeks, he created a strong presence for Safescrypt’s DSCs in the region.
Mr. Tibrewal’s educational background is excellent, with an MBA in International Business from University of Birmingham, UK (ranked amongst the top 10 Universities in UK). He also holds a BBA degree with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems from University of Wisconsin, USA
